WELCOME TO THE CENTER FOR INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT - CIRa!

CIRa is an independent, non-governmental organization which was established in September 2003 by the local staff of the USAID Democracy Network Program (DemNet) implemented in Macedonia from 1995 to 2004. During this time, Dem Net provided grants for more than 350 civil society organizations (CSOs) and financially supported 317 projects distributed in various focal areas with a total budget of $ 8.05 million. In addition, over 200 training sessions were designed and delivered with the aim of strengthening civil society in Macedonia.


Valorisation of the cultural heritage in the municipality of Mavrovo-Rostushe

 

 CIRa and Savoir Faire et Decouverte, in cooperation with the Municipal Office of Mavrovo-Rostushe, held a six-day valorisation of the cultural heritage of the municipality of Mavrovo-Rostushe.

The debate was held "Influence of the donor community on the development of the civil society in RM"

 CIRa held the second public debate of the CIVICA Mobilitas Programme, titled "The influence of the donor community in the development of the civil society in the Republic of Macedonia", on Thursday, June 17 2010, in STONE BRIDGE Hotel in Skopje.


The response and interest of the actors in the civil sector were big.

CIRa organises a Practical Training on Restoration of traditional buildings

 CIRa and Region Basse-Normandie, France, in cooperation with the Municipal Office of Novaci shall organise a practical training titled as "Restoration of old traditional buildings by using natural materials", that is to take place in the village of Staravina, municipality of Novaci, from August 10 to 14, 2010.

The presentation of the results from practical training and of the plans for future restoration of old traditional buildings in the municipalities of Novaci, Mavrovo-Rostushe and Berovo shall take place on August 14, 2010, from 11:00 to 12:30 hrs, in Novaci Municipal Hall.
