CIRa plays an active role in the regional networks of the Western Balkan countries to promote the role of civil society in the EU integration process, as well as to promote active regional cooperation. CIRa is founder and member of several networks in Macedonia and SEE:
- Network (SIGN) – network of local foundations and support organizations that work on development and promotion of philanthropy, CSR, Social entrepreneurship and community development (covers 7 Balkan countries),
- It is a member of Network of European Civil Society Leaders (EUCLID) from London, UK and Association of Local Development Agencies (ALDA) from Strasbourg, France,
- Coalition for Regional Cooperation and European Integration (COREI) (includes 8 Balkan countries) and SEE Indigenous Grant-makers,
- Civic Platform of Macedonia (GPM) (with more than 35 country-members).
Until now CIRa has been active in provision of capacity building services in Western Balkan region in particular in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania cooperating with UNDP, Kvinna till Kvina, DRC, Project Hope, etc.
With COREI CIRa organized National Conference „The role of the civil society in view of the EU integration“, on 9th of September, 2009 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The Conference was a part of the project “Ljubljana Agenda” that was developed and implemented by seven partner organizations in the region of Western Balkans (WB): Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania and Macedonia
